Sadly, Barry passed away on November 30, 2016. Barry is missed greatly. He was a devoted Christian, husband and father, grandfather as well as an excellent, accomplished CPA and PFS. He was well-liked by his clients, earning their trust over years of service. 

Barry had over 40 years of experience with international, regional, and local CPA firms. Barry and Raymond Branton formed Erwin and Branton CPA'S LLC in 2008 after several years association in Griffin.

In addition to holding CPA certificates in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia, in 2008 Barry was one of only 3,000 CPA’s to hold the Personal Financial Specialty designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). A native of Atlanta, Barry attended Auburn University on a Track and Field scholarship. Active in many church, civic and business organizations, Barry was survived by his wife, two sons and five grandchildren that he visited whenever possible.
